On request and subject to availability, the Lancaster Hotel staff will try to meet free of charges any request for an early check-in.
On request and subject to availability, a late check-out is allowed under payment of an extra charge.
Booking and Payment
In order to guarantee your reservation, it’s requested a credit card.
For each room booked, the Hotel reserves the right to request a pre-authorization on the credit card for a value equal to at least the first night.
In case of long periods stays or reservations of 5 or more rooms or bookings during particularly important fairs or events, the Hotel may request as confirmation of the reservation a non-refundable deposit of at least 30% of the total booking.
In any case these conditions and deadlines are always specified in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The Lancaster Hotel accepts all major international credit cards.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners, Maestro, CartaSì, Pago Bancomat.
Rates
Rates are in Euros and include overnight and breakfast arrangement, wifi connection and VAT 10%.
Rates do not include the Milan City Tax and any extra charges or any other payment services provided from the Hotel.

City Tax
From 1st September 2012, the City of Milan has introduced a City Tax paid by those staying in accommodation in the city.
For 3-star hotels, the City Tax is 4,5 € per night per person and should be settled in Hotel, possibly in cash.
The City Tax is not included in the room rate and is on charge to the guest.
Hotel, as a withholding agent, will just collect the City Tax on behalf of the Municipality and will provide the subsequent payment of the sums collected.
There are some subjects exempted from payment.
Are exempted, including but not limited to, residents in Milan, guests under 18, those staying in the town for health reasons in health facilities and their helpers.
Exemption could be requested directly to the check-in, by filling out a special form provided by the reception staff.
Booking Cancellations and Changes
Within 14.00 hours on the second day before the date of arrival, cancellations and changes are free of charges.
- In case of particularly important fairs or events, the deadline for free cancellations or changes may be different.
- In case of no-show or late cancellation, will be charged a penalty equal to at least the first night for each room booked.
- In case of changes after the deadline, it could be an extra charge to the tariff adjustment.
In any case the deadline for cancellations and changes free of penalties is always specified in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Disability
The Lancaster Hotel, being in a historic building, it’s not able to accommodate guests with major disabilities. For further information about, our staff is available for any need or clarification.
